Emire Seyahi MD, is a Professor of Rheumatology and is currently working at the Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty of Istanbul University, Turkey. She completed her training in internal medicine and rheumatology at the same institution and has been serving on the faculty since 2000. Her research has been focused on the clinical and radiological aspects of vasculitis, atheresclerosis, especially Behçet's syndrome and large vessel vasculitis. She is a member of Turkish Society for Rheumatology, International Society for Behçet's Disease and European Vasculitis Society. She has published over 80 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals (over 3500 citations with a h index of 29).
